The early submission of the budget by the President is to have the appropriation bill out on time and follow through with the January to December budget cycle.

Upon resumption in September 20, 2022, Senate is expected to confirm the nomination of Acting Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola

Acting CJN was appointed on June 27, 2022 and he has three months to get Senate confirmation, failure of which will require fresh nomination.
The renovation of the National Assembly complex is largely for the benefit of the incoming 10th Assembly as it would be completed in August 2023.
