The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Anambra has disowned Chris Ngige, the minister of labor and employment, for failing to formally endorse Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s nominee for president.
Ngige had previously in the month declared that he will decide who to vote for on his ballot.
He insisted that he was choosing between Peter Obi of the Labour Party and Bola Tinubu because they were both his buddies.

They’re both pals of mine. I’ll put my ballot preference in. On that day in February, I’ll cast one vote whether I have a conscience or not, Ngige had declared.
Ngige’s opinions do not, according to Basil Ejidike, the APC’s state chairman in Anambra, who made this claim in a statement on Sunday.
Ngige never claimed to speak for the party during the interview, and anything he said was private and did not represent the party’s position in the state of Anambra, according to Ejidike.
