Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, and Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, his running mate, were supposed to visit Kafanchan on Sunday, October 16, 2022, but that visit has been postponed, according to the Kaduna State Chapter of the PDP.
According to a statement released on Saturday by the state party chairman, Hon. Hassan Hyat, the scheduled visit was postponed after discussions with local political and religious leaders, during which the participants decided that a new date would be the most appropriate.

The PDP expressed apologies for any inconveniences this adjustment may have brought about and assured the good people of Southern Kaduna of Atiku’s commitment to meeting with them as soon as a fresh, practical date was set.
