Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, returned to Nigeria on Friday after a trip to France.
On Monday, Atiku left Nigeria just hours after the PDP rally in Kaduna State.
Atiku’s return comes ahead of the party’s presidential rally, which is set to take place in Edo on Saturday.
According to reports, PDP bigwigs are expected to attend the rally, which begins at 10 a.m. and is open to all elected governors on the party’s platform.
Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign, revealed this in an invite obtained by newsmen on Thursday.
