Governors of the five South East states are currently meeting behind closed door at the Government House Enugu
The meeting is presided over by chairman of the forum and Governor of Ebonyi state, Dave Umahi, having the Governor of Abia, Okezie Ikpeazu, Host Governor of Enugu Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi present,, while Governors of Anambra Chukwuma Soludo and Imo Hope Uzodinma were represented by their deputies.
Issues expected to be deliberated on are still unclear to newsmen,, but will not be separated from National security challenges, preparation ahead of 2023 general elections, continuos detention of MAZI Nnamdi Kanu that placed the zone on lockdown every Monday,, which is adversely affecting the economy of the South East region and host of other matters
