The Kwara State police Command has paraded a 36 year old former Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Kaiama General Hospital in Kaiama Local Government area of the State, Dr. Abbas Adeyemi for the alleged murder of at least six people in Kwara and Edo States in the last six months.
Addressing Journalists at the Command’s Headquarters in Ilorin, the State Commissioner of Police, Paul Odama said the suspect having committed the crime in Kwara fled to Edo State where he was arrested and brought back to Kwara state for further investigation.
Odama maintained that the suspect after the murder of the victims buried them in shallow graves within the store of Kaiama general hospital.
The CP says the Command has medical experts that could conduct thorough investigation on the corpses retrieved from the shallow graves
Meanwhile the suspect, Dr Abbas Adeyemi while stating his side of the story denied the allegations leveled against him, challenging the police to do a more thorough investigation
Exhibits recovered from the suspect are one Toyota Corolla Camry LE with registration number: WSN494AA, two female handbags black and pink colour respectively, two handsets, one female wig, black veil and a female pant.
