The illustrious Ilesanmi family in accordance with Muslim rites, conducted the eight days Fridau prayers for their beloved great-grandfather, grandfather and father, Alhaji Olalekan Olufunmilayo Ilesanmi at the family residence at Ipaja, on the 28th of February, 2023.
The event was marked by prayers for the soul of the deceased to have eternal rest by Muslim clerics, the immediate family and friends of the family. After the prayers and tributes, guests were hosted to a reception in honour of late Alhaji Ilesanmi.
Speaking to his widow and eldest daughter, CSP Tokunbo Abaniwonda, who also doubles as the Divisional Police Officer in charge of Ipaja, Lagos, they extolled the virtues of the exemplary and loving life of their late husband and father.
