he Genial Club of Idumuje Ugboko has elected new members into its’ executive body. The responsibilities of the new officers will be multi faceted as they will be involved in coordinating the operations of the club.
Their duties will include financial management, organizing inter community programs, maintain communication with members and representing the club at other social events.
The newly elected officers and their positions are listed below
1. Genial Lucky Ikemefune- Chairman
2. Genial Clement Echie Ibeh- Vice Chairman
3. Genial Jasper Awunor- Secretary
4. Genial Daniel Akaba Okolie- Treasurer
5. Genial Godson Mesike- Financial Secretary
6. Genial Emeke Isichie- Provost
7. Genial Solomon Bakwunye- Assistant Provost
8. Genial Cosmos Nwoko- Welfare Officer
9. Genial Ubaka Awolo- Ex Officio 1
10. Genial Obed Ashikwe- Ex Officio 2
The immediate past Chairman of the club, Mr Obed Ashikwe used the opportunity to thank all members of the club for their dedication, time and perseverance.
The Vice Chairman of the club, Genial Echie Ibeh made appeals for support of the club by members in and outside the country. He also added that they be of good character and be ambassadors of the club wherever they go.
The Genial club of Idumuje Ugboko is a formidable and respected club in the community. Founded over two decades ago, their aim and objectives have been for community unification, community growth and development.
The club has made immense contributions in the development of the Idumuje Ugboko community and sponsoring grassroot football matches.
