Lagos is set to host the prestigious SHE Global Awards Inc. 2025, themed The Lipstick Force.
At a press conference held in Lagos, Ambassador Adeshola Helen Onadipe, founder of Ladies in Business Magazine Global and President of the African-Arab Women Chamber of Commerce, announced that the awards ceremony will take place on April 13, 2025, at Protea Hotel, Ikeja.
According to Ambassador Onadipe, the event will celebrate women from all walks of life who have championed impactful causes across the globe. She emphasized that the awards aim to recognize thought leaders, industry pioneers, activists, and trailblazers, both behind the scenes and on the front lines, for their contributions to a dynamic modern world.
The Lipstick Force, she explained, is a tribute to the boldness of women who have shattered glass ceilings and reached remarkable heights. The platform is designed to uplift women for their courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to breaking barriers, she said.
The event is backed by sponsors from Nigeria and abroad and will feature keynote speakers from across the globe. It promises to be a significant gathering of influential women and thought leaders, showcasing the power of female dynamism at all levels.
