Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force under the Area ‘M’ Command, Idimu, have recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of two domestic workers over the alleged theft of luxury items and cash valued at ₦118 million in Ikeja, Lagos.
The suspects, Agbohunon Micheal (25) and Agbohunon Eric (22), both Togolese nationals, were accused of conspiring with a female housemaid, now at large to steal a Rolex wristwatch, gold jewellery, a Samsung Galaxy phone and cash belonging to their employer, one Olarewaju Moshood, at Alfred Garden Estate on 5th August 2025.
Following a complaint by the victim, the Area Commander, ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda, swiftly deployed investigators, leveraging CCTV evidence to trace and arrest the suspects. The investigation, led by Inspector Fagbohunbe Raphael, resulted in confessional statements and a solid case file.
The defendants were arraigned before the Ogba Magistrate Court, where they pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy and stealing under the Lagos State Criminal Law. The court ordered their remand at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre and adjourned the case to 15th December 2025 when they were convicted.
