The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Adebayo Babalola, has commended the Directorate of Automated Data Processing (DADP), Directorate of Chaplain Services Roman Catholic DCS(RC), and the Directorate of Islamic Affairs for successfully hosting the combined 2025 West African Social Activities (WASA).
The event, held on February 14, 2026, at Bonny Cantonment, Victoria Island, Lagos, showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and provided a platform for personnel and their families to celebrate together.
Major General Babalola praised the directorates for their efforts, urging them to remain committed to addressing challenges in the new training cycle. He also commended soldiers engaged in counter-terrorism operations and reassured personnel of his commitment to their welfare.
