Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has celebrated the retirement of Permanent Secretary, Office of the Deputy Governor, Mrs. Mobolaji Mojisola Daba, at a thanksgiving service in Alausa-Ikeja. Hamzat described Daba as an embodiment of honesty, integrity, and professionalism, urging civil servants to emulate her example.

Hamzat emphasized the importance of honesty, care, and understanding one’s role in public service, noting that Lagos State Public Service is one of the best in the world due to its composed, organised, and dedicated civil servants.

Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, praised Daba as a people-centric and compassionate individual, while the retiree expressed gratitude for a fulfilling career and urged civil servants to remain proactive and committed to serving the people.

Rev. Dr. Adele Ajayi advised Daba to remain grateful and see retirement as a new season of opportunities, family, and community service. The event celebrated Daba’s 60th birthday and retirement, marking a new chapter in her life.
