The Flag Officer Commanding Western Naval Command (WNC), Rear Admiral AA Mustapha, has paid a courtesy visit to Tony Elumelu, Group Managing Director/CEO of United Bank for Africa, to strengthen existing ties between the Nigerian Navy and the bank.
During the visit, Rear Admiral Mustapha conveyed the Chief of the Naval Staff’s goodwill and commended Elumelu for his contributions to economic development in Africa, particularly through entrepreneurship empowerment initiatives.
Elumelu, renowned for his leadership in banking and founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation, expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his support for the Nigerian Navy’s efforts in promoting maritime security and national development.
The visit concluded with the exchange of souvenirs and a group photograph, marking a significant step in enhancing collaboration between the Nigerian Navy and United Bank for Africa.
