The Ogun State Police Command has announced its programme of events for the 2026 National Police Day celebration, themed “Community Partnership: Building Trust”. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Disu, dedicates the ceremony to fallen heroes, serving and retired police officers, stakeholders, and the people of the state for their support.
The events include:
– *Day 1 (March 30)*: Medical outreach and environmental sanitation exercise across police formations in the state
– *Day 2 (March 31)*: Statewide walkathon to promote unity and public safety
– *Day 3 (April 1)*: Sensitisation campaign on electoral violence prevention, safe driving practices, and traffic regulations
– *Day 4 (April 2)*: Welfare presentation of cheques to families of deceased officers
The Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, invites community leaders, women and youth groups, stakeholders, and the public to participate in the celebrations.
