The Ogun State Police Command has intensified its “Operation No Traffic Gridlock” to tackle road obstruction in Sango Ota, Sagamu, and other areas. The police attribute traffic congestion to improper parking, traders displaying goods on roads, and other forms of obstruction.
Motorists, traders, and transport operators are warned to stop obstructing roads, and those who fail to comply will face arrest and prosecution. The police have deployed personnel to strategic locations to enforce traffic rules and clear obstructions.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, emphasized the command’s commitment to maintaining order and safety on the roads. The public is encouraged to report suspicious activities and support the police in eliminating traffic gridlock.
