The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has arrested several suspects, including a 93-year-old great grandpa and a 69-year-old medical doctor, in connection with cocaine and skunk trafficking across various states in Nigeria.

In Abia state, Pa Friday Ahukanna Chigbu, 93, was arrested with 7.7kg of skunk, while in Ogun state, Dr. Chudi Daniel Ofomata, 69, was arrested with promazepam and promethazine injection. An Ivorian, Gohouri Michael, 41, was also arrested at Kano airport with 1.49kg of cocaine.

Other arrests include a couple in Niger state with 118kg of skunk, and several suspects in Lagos, Imo, Borno, and Edo states with various quantities of illicit drugs. The NDLEA has intensified its crackdown on drug cartels and their collaborators.
