The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Bode Ojajuni, on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, received the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Abeokuta, Prof. Fatiu Abiola Arogundade, and his management team at the Command Headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
The courtesy visit centered on strengthening collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and academic institutions to ensure the safety of students, staff, and critical infrastructure within the university community. Discussions also covered proactive measures to address security concerns and enhance intelligence sharing between the institution and the Police.
CP Ojajuni thanked the Vice Chancellor and his team for the visit and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to providing adequate security and fostering a safe, peaceful environment for academic excellence across the state.
