D-Genius Academy has celebrated another successful graduation and end- of-session activities, with its’ Director, Desmond Ayeleso, reflecting on the school’s journey over the past 12 years and reaffirming its’ commitment to academic excellence, innovation and character development.
Speaking during the end-of-session activities, Ayeleso described the anniversary as a proud milestone, noting that the academy has produced outstanding students who continue to distinguish themselves in different professions and academic pursuits, both within Nigeria and abroad. According to him, the achievements of these alumni are a testament to the school’s vision of nurturing well-rounded individuals equipped to excel in an increasingly competitive world.
He said the academy has remained focused on preparing pupils for the future by embracing technology-driven learning. One of the school’s key initiatives, he explained, is the introduction of compulsory Computer-Based Test (CBT) drills, which have strengthened students’ digital competence while exposing them to coding, robotics and information and communication technology (ICT).
Ayeleso added that the school also provides mechatronics training for pupils with technical interests, giving them practical skills that complement classroom learning. He noted that these programmes are designed to ensure that learners are not only academically sound but also equipped with the technological and problem-solving abilities needed in today’s rapidly evolving world.
Addressing the graduating pupils, the director encouraged them to remain worthy ambassadors of D-Genius Academy by demonstrating excellence, integrity and a commitment to lifelong learning wherever they find themselves.
He also commended parents for their continued partnership with the school, urging them to remain actively involved in their children’s education. He stressed that investing in a child’s future requires sustained commitment, adding that no effort should be spared in helping young people reach their full potential.
A major highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of prizes to the graduating pupils and other students who distinguished themselves through outstanding academic performance in various subjects. The awards recognized excellence, diligence and hard work, while encouraging all learners to strive for even greater achievements.
