The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, on Tuesday received the Managing Director/CEO of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, and his team during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
The meeting focused on strengthening security backing for LAWMA’s environmental enforcement activities and expanding inter-agency collaboration for a cleaner and safer Lagos. Both parties discussed strategies to protect LAWMA operatives on duty and ensure smooth implementation of environmental laws across the state.
CP Fatai welcomed the visit and reiterated the Command’s commitment to partnering with LAWMA. He assured the agency of sustained police support for lawful environmental enforcement operations as part of broader efforts to enhance public safety and urban cleanliness in Lagos.
