First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, has declared the readiness of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) to mobilise massively for the All Progressives Congress in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a visit to the PBAT-KOH 2027 Campaign Council office in GRA, Ikeja on Tuesday, Sanwo-Olu said Lagos women are united behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat and his running mate, Princess Damilola Sonayon-James. “We need to prove to our President that we are not just delivering one million votes; we are going to do more,” she said.
Responding, Hamzat urged supporters to turn out en masse and get families and neighbours to vote, saying continuity requires participation, while Sonayon-James, Campaign DG Senator Musiliu Obanikoro and Lagos APC Chairman Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi charged women to leverage their grassroots influence, especially among young voters aged 18-35, to propagate the achievements of the APC at federal, state and local levels.
