The Tinubu Progressive Advocates (TPA), with its growing membership base across Nigeria has effectively landed in Lagos State, south-west Nigeria.
This is to, in more ways than one, affirm and reaffirm its commitment to the eventual success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid at the national level, and that of His Excellency Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat’s eventual election in Lagos State as Governor.
Rising from the huge success recorded during the official launch of the group firstly in Abuja, it’s base, and some few weeks ago in Kaduna State, this Lagos official inauguration of it’s excos is further meant to stamp and solidify the All Progressives Congress (APC) party’s name and political influence, along with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s footprints on the Nigeria political sands, especially here in Lagos State, one of the the South-West states in Nigeria.
It is also to help ensure that the highly anticipated, and widely expected presidential re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat come 2027, are well protected.
To this end, the body, backed by a high-powered All Progressives Congress (APC) delegation from Abuja landed in Lagos yesterday Monday for the official inauguration of the Lagos State Chapter of the organisation taking place today Tuesday here in LAGOS State, South-West Nigeria.
The event being sponsored by Prince Ajasa Olayinka Oniru, will take place today Tuesday November 3, 2026 at the Secretariat of Iru Local Government, Muri-Okuola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State, south West Nigeria, by 11am prompt.
According to the spokesman of the Tinubu Progressive Advocates and National Director of Communications, Mazi Nwachukwu Sidney, “the very high profile political event programme in Nigeria is hitting the city of Lagos as a support advocacy for: (1) President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s aspiration for a second term in office as President, then (2) for Engr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat aka KOH bids for the Governorship of the state, and (3) Lagos State’s TPA Excos’ official inauguration and leadership alignment.”
The TPA Lagos epoch making programme is structured and directed by TPA’s National Coordinator, Ambassador Moses Ebahor with the maximum boost and psychological supports from the body’s Excos from Abuja.
Mazi Nwachukwu Sidney, National Director Of Communications of the TPA, in an e-release sent from Abuja to LAGOS CITY NEWS, said “the group has vowed to sustain its mobilisation efforts through stakeholder engagement, public communication and other political activities aimed at building support for the APC presidential campaign across the federation.”
It would be recalled that the group’s Kaduna flag-off, some few weeks ago in October this year, represented an important moment in the life of the party, the TPA and its affiliated support groups as preparations for the 2027 presidential election gather momentum.
Consequently, this Lagos State inauguration, considered a stabilization shift in the south-west, is generally seen as a very strategic move in the history of the party at both national and state levels, hence the reason for all relevant hands being on the deck to ensure victory by all legitimate means at the polls.
