Senator Obinna Ogba, who represents Ebonyi Central Senatorial Zone in the National Assembly, urged supporters to have faith in the Supreme Court of Nigeria, despite its decision on who will be the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, authentic governorship candidate in the state.
Ogba revealed that there is still one more appeal case pending in the Supreme Court for ruling, and urged them not to give up hope that the PDP’s national leadership will soon decide on who becomes the party’s authentic governorship candidate in the state.
The senator stated this while speaking to stakeholders and throngs of supporters at his campaign office during a solidarity rally.

He said: “My reason for calling this meeting is to thank all of you for your support, for your solidarity to my humble self and I want to assure you that you will not be disappointed.
“We have two cases in the Supreme Court, one has been decided and it’s not in our favor. We still have one in court.
“I belong to the common people and the hope of a common man is the judiciary, I still have hope in the judiciary,” he stressed.
