A new board for the State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency has been inaugurated by Professor Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State (ANSIPPA).
The board’s secretary is Chinedu Onyiuke, and the chairman is Mustafa Chike Obi.
Mark Okoye, MD/CEO of ANSIPPA, Professor Sylvia Ifemeje, Attorney General, and Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Economic Planning and Budget, are the other members.

In order to ensure that the business process was streamlined and managed efficiently, Soludo made it clear that ANSIPPA’s duties included supporting and guiding all investors in the State; identifying specific viable infrastructure projects across ministries, departments, and agencies; and inviting interested investors to participate via PPP, concessions, JVs, etc.
The functions of the members the governor further stated included strengthening strategic partnerships and enhancing the ability of current and future investors to create jobs and expand access to the export market, manage the State’s Investment Portfolio and partner with international development agencies and NGOs to attract their technical support and funding to improve the investment climate in Anambra.
