Access Bank Holding has refuted an unethical behaviour allegations leviedĀ  against its Bank that some funds worth N500 million was missing from the Access bank account.

This was contained in a statement made to mikeosemekenews.com.ng and signed by the Management of Access Bank Holding on Sunday, stating that their attention has been drawn to a video on social media wherein allegations of missing funds and unethical behaviour have been made against Access Bank PLC.

ā€œFirst and foremost, we wish to emphasise that the safety and security of our customersā€™ funds are core priorities which we take seriouslyā€ ā€œSecondly, Access Bank Plc does not engage in or condone any unethical behaviourā€

ā€œIn the instant case, the allegations of missing funds in the Bank are most untrue and baselessā€

The Management further stated that there is no N500million or any other fund or amount missing from the subject customerā€™s account or from any other customerā€™s account with us.

According to the statement ā€œwe and other independent stakeholders in the banking industry have thoroughly investigated these allegations and independently arrived at the same conclusions.

ā€œAccess Bank PLC operates with the highest ethical standards, and we protect our customers’ interests whilst also respecting privacy lawsā€

ā€œConsequently, whilst we have engaged and will continue to engage with our customers, we must advise the public not to rely on or believe sensational and unverified claims that are designed to titillate and mislead the publicā€
