The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area, Hon. Otunba Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (SKO), has concluded his educational distribution initiative with a grand finale at UPE Primary School, Ajaguro. The program, which began in January, focused on refurbishing school structures and supplying pupils with essential learning materials across primary schools in the council area.

The initiative featured the distribution of high-quality educational furniture and materials, including durable chairs, tables, and school bags, aimed at creating a more conducive learning environment. Other state primary schools within Ikorodu West LCDA were also beneficiaries, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to strengthening foundational education at the grassroots level.

Olanrewaju stated that the program aligns with his broader vision of grassroots development, with education serving as a critical starting point for children’s future success. He emphasized that free education must be well-rounded, robust, and inclusive, capable of meeting acceptable standards without compromise.

The chairman visited the last of the beneficiary schools, including Togedejoye Primary School in Ward C, before proceeding to UPE Primary School in Ward D for the closing ceremony. The effort reflects a deliberate investment in infrastructure and learning resources designed to elevate standards in public primary education.
