The Area ‘M’ Command of the Lagos State Police Command recently received visits from senior officers of the Nigerian Air Force and the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) as part of efforts to boost security and public order in Lagos.

The Nigerian Air Force delegation, led by Air Commodore DU Edet, emphasized the importance of communication infrastructure and tech coordination in modern security operations. They met with Area Commander ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda to discuss strategic collaboration.

LASTMA’s management team, led by Commander Giwa Habeeb, also visited, highlighting the link between traffic management and crime prevention in Lagos’ congested urban areas.

ACP Abaniwonda stressed that effective policing relies on institutional partnerships and agencies working together to share expertise, intelligence, and operational reach. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration and reinforce a shared commitment to maintaining security in Lagos.
