The House of Representatives passed the 2022 appropriation bill sent to it by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, bringing the total amount to N17.126 trillion.
Recall that Buhari presented the Appropriation bill, dubbed a “Budget of Economic Growth and Sustainability,” to both chambers of the National Assembly in October, with a budget estimate of 16.39 trillion dollars.

The budget was passed after the Chairman of the Appropriations Committee, Hon. Muktar Betara reviewed and adopted clauses in Bill’s report.
