The registrar/CEO of the chartered institute of purchasing and supply management of Nigeria, Alhaji M.I Aliyu has said that the Institute will continue to play a significant role in The National Economic development of Nigeria.
Alhaji Aliyu who made this known at the mandatory professional development Programme in supply chain management holding in Lagos, from 26th of April to 29th April, 2023, also said that a stable and sustainable institute is only possible through the cooperation, healthy environment and collaborative effort of various stakeholders for the development of the country.
He also added that it is his hope that members of the institute will make themselves relevant in the next 3 days of the programme, in the development equation rather than making the institute a fertile ground for unhealthy contestation for foreign body to triumph and aimed at creating a negative impression in the minds of members by those they refer to as mid-career crisis in the pursuit of their professional development.
