The chartered institute of purchasing and supply management of Nigeria recently held its induction of new members for the year 2023.
Conferment of graduate professional diplomas and Certificates were awarded at the ceremony. Also, there were awards to honorary fellows into the institute.
Speaking at the event, the registrar and CEO of CIPSM, Alhaji M.J Aliyu restated the role of the institute in the management of the nation’s resources, especially in curbing corruption that deters national economic development.
The CIPSM is the leading supply chain management body in the country that ensures inventory management, physical distribution, development of local content, wise spend management and investment, and innovation with the aim of promoting transparent and accountable practices.
He urged the new inductees to keep in line with the aims and objectives of the institute to promote the core of their professional and corporate strategy.
