The Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN) has congratulated Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) Benjamin Hundeyin on his appointment as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.

In a statement released by its President, Olalekan Olabulo, CRAN described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hundeyin’s professionalism, academic excellence and wealth of experience in police communications at both national and international levels.

The association recalled his outstanding service as spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, his previous roles in the Force Public Relations Department and his participation in the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan, as proof of his competence.

CRAN expressed confidence that Hundeyin will further strengthen the image of the Nigeria Police Force and pledged its continued collaboration with him in his new role.
