The CLEEN Foundation, in partnership with the Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Empowerment Foundation (ICCEF) and Centre for Memories, is hosting the 5th Year Memorial Event and the 4th Annual Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma Impact & Legacy Lecture on April 9, 2026, in Enugu. This event honors the late human rights advocate and police reform champion, Innocent Chukwuemeka Chukwuma, and features a lecture by Dr. Sam Amadi, Associate Professor at the Abuja School of Social and Political Studies, on contemporary governance challenges and reformist leadership in Nigeria.
The memorial event will bring together civil society leaders, academics, policymakers, and young reform advocates to reflect on Chukwuma’s life and impact, and discuss critical governance issues. The lecture series aims to sustain the values of courage, integrity, and service to humanity that defined Chukwuma’s life.
Members of the media, civil society organizations, students, and the general public are invited to attend virtually or physically. For media inquiries and participation, please contact Peter Maduoma or Josephine Effah-Chukwuma of CLEEN Foundation and ICCEF.
