The FOC praised their service and charged them to remain committed to excellence in their new roles, emphasizing his leadership pillars: Professionalism, Operational Readiness, Welfare of Personnel, and Synergy and Collaboration.
The ceremony featured gift presentations, cultural performances, and swimming displays. A commendation plaque was presented to the Officer-in-Charge, Nigerian Navy Ship OSE, for rescuing 20 crew members from MV Chimba Express in December 2025.
