The Founder of foremost Igbo Women Foundation , “Odimma Umuada Igbo Prestigious Women Foundation , OUIPWF”, has called on Nigerians to embrace peace as a road map for enduring National development.
Preaching National Peace and Unity, Mrs. Obiora , who is a renowned Philanthropist , urge Ethnic Leaders to avoid bitterness and incitement against each other for an enduring Peace and harmonious Cohabitation.
The astute Woman leader was speaking at a Praise worship and thanksgiving event organized by OUIPWF , to mark the commencement of their 2026 activities .
Indeed, it was anointing galore last Saturday , February 21, 2026, at 12 Okota road, Lagos state.
Our Correspondent reports that Miracles, healings and Deliverance took the center stage, as the foremost Igbo Women Foundation popularly known as “Odimma Umuada Igbo Prestigious Women Foundation”, OUIPWF, which is an affiliate of Unique Diamond Women Foundation, uniquely kick started their 2026 empowerment and humanitarian programmes, by seeking God’s leadership through fasting and prayers .
The Founder, Chief Mrs Violet Uche Obiora , popularly known as Onaedo, whose vision it was to organize the event , said that she had in appreciation of God’s protection and faithfulness over their lives during the Yuletide 2025 , made the decision to commence the Foundation’s activities in 2026 ,by first seeking the face of God through abstinence, praises and prayers.
The fasting which started from 6 am to about 2pm , was followed by praises and worship which was anchored by invited guest gospel Artists of Davidic Gospel Singers Group ,made up of Brother Izuchukwu David Godwin , Obi Perpetual Chidinma , Ichu Mercy and Celestina Odu.
Ministering Pastor , Brother Henry Ugwumba of Saint Mulumba and David Catholic Church , Lawanson, surulere , Lagos State , centered his preaching on God’s Mercy and Grace upon mankind .
The preacher enjoined the women to be like salt and light of the world, by shining their light on their husband , children , family and the society at large .
He praised the Foundation for their vision and unity , especially their philanthropic gestures to the needy in the society .
In an interview with Journalists , Chief Mrs Obiora , called for peace and peaceful co- existence in the country .
Focusing on women empowerment and reaching out to the poor and needy , She hinted that as part of the highlights of their Foundation programme in 2026, the Foundation would organize some outreach , pay courtesy visits to Patrons, Matrons , Cooperate institutions , Agencies and governments.
Onaedo, who has carved a niche for herself as a Philanthropist , emphasized that her Foundation would conduct humanitarian activities by reaching out to patience in the hospital , as well as giving to the poor , Widows ,needy and less privileged .
Speaking , the Special Guest of honor, who is the Welfare Officer 2 of Balogun Business Association, BBA, Trade Fair Complex, Mrs. Tochukwu Esther Chinyere (Chelsea), thanked the women for being very organized and enjoined them to be more prayerful, even as she noted that women are gifted with special grace.
Urging the women to be more united ,She said that she was very impressed that women have woken up to have a voice to carry their cross by seeking for women emancipation and empowerment.
