Members of Prayer & Support 4 The Nigerian Armed Forces & Other Security Agencies have congratulated AIG Olatunji Disu on his appointment as Acting Inspector-General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group’s Convener, Ambassador Mary Abayomi Fatile, described the appointment as a testament to IGP Disu’s outstanding professionalism, leadership, and dedication to national service. She highlighted his strong relationship with citizens, which has earned him public trust.
IGP Disu’s career showcases operational excellence and strategic leadership, with notable achievements as Commander of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in Lagos and Head of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
The group believes IGP Disu’s leadership will promote trust, collaboration, and mutual respect between the police and citizens, and strengthen intelligence-led policing, inter-agency collaboration, and modern technology integration.
Ambassador Fatile pledged the group’s support to IGP Disu, envisioning a tenure marked by transformative reforms and progress in repositioning the Nigeria Police Force.
