Former People’s Democratic Party (PDP) national publicity secretary Olisa Metuh stated on Saturday that some party leaders “would be so valuable in achieving a balance of power for Peter Obi’s administration.”
According to a source, Metuh asked his supporters to refrain from insults after claiming that Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, lacks “a substantial spread” in the National Assembly should he win the 2023 election.
In order to have a significant majority in the national parliament if and/or when he wins, Peter Obi joined the Labour Party too late in the day. If he were elected president of Nigeria, Metuh said in a statement, “I cannot, therefore, understand the condemnation and mob killing of other southeast leaders who could be of enormous service to him in reaching, a peaceful balance of power.”

To achieve a balance of power for Peter Obi’s president, men like Okwy Nwodo, Emeka Ihedioha, Ben Obi, Osita Chidoka, Pius Anyim, and Sam Egwu would be very helpful.
Therefore, if Peter Obi wins, “lies the folly in the insults and criticism that could diminish their negotiating value after May 29th, 2023.”
