An entrepreneur, Mr Victor Olojo, on Monday advised the youth to adopt a three-step formula of transformation, thriving and triumphing as their guiding principle in careers and businesses.
Olojo, the Chief Executive Officer of CreditMe, a start-up mobile money payment system, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He said that the principle helped him to succeed.
According to him, transformation begins with a change of mindset, commitment to learning and adapting to one’s environment.
Olojo added that to transform would mean to embrace change and growth.
He said, “Transformation is the foundation of success.”
Olojo said that success would require tackling challenges, thriving in a dynamic environment and triumphing over obstacles.
The entrepreneur advised the youth to develop themselves, embrace new technologies and be innovative.
“The world is moving fast, and we cannot afford to be stuck where we are,” he said.
Olojo described thriving as flourishing in spite of odds.
“Thriving is about resilience, consistency, and taking advantage of opportunities,” he said.
He said that triumphing meant achieving excellence and making impacts.
According to him, triumph is for those who dare to transform and thrive in their endeavours.
“Triumph is the realisation of your dreams and the impact you create in your community and beyond,” Olojo said.
He implored Nigerian youths to be open to learning, unlearning and re-learning in order to succeed in their careers and businesses. NAN
