Frank Edoho, a media figure and TV broadcaster, has commented on the viral video showing Rico Swavey, a former BBNaija housemate, in the hospital receiving life support.
Rico died on Thursday morning, days after being hurt in a horrific accident in Lagos, as was previously reported.
In the viral video, Rico can be seen sitting on a chair while receiving oxygen, with the staff appearing perplexed and debating how to transfer him to the hospital’s intensive care unit.
As they criticize the medical staff for laughing and filming the reality TV star before his passing, other Nigerians have become incensed.

In response to the widely shared video, Edoho requested that the medical professionals involved be expelled from the profession and, if necessary, additionally detained.
He continued by asking how competent medical professionals could be expected from a nation whose leaders seek treatment at hospitals abroad.
“Those moronic medical staff who were filming and laughing while Rico lay there dying should be prohibited from working in medicine and perhaps even jailed,” he said.
“Why would we expect good healthcare in Nigeria when our leaders constantly flee the country for cutting-edge medical care?”
