The Inspector General of police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun has been urged to set up an Independent Committee to investigate land grabbing issues in Ibeju Lekki and Epe areas of lagos state.

This appeal was made monday by a real estate practitioner, Saheed Mosadoluwa while briefing journalists on the recent unlawful demolition of his property at Oko-Orisan in Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State.

Expressing his frustration, Mosadoluwa said he has been treated unfairly and victimised by those he purchased his land from due to internal family dispute ,despite fulfilling all agreements and payments.

According to him, some members of the family turned against him to label him a land grabber.

Despite the challenges, Mosadoluwa applauds the Deputy Commissioner of the Special Weapons and Tactics (DC SWAT) unit for listening to all parties involved, which helped to control the situation.

Mosadoluwa however made a passionate appeal to the family for reconciliation by resolving their internal conflict for a peaceful resolution of the matter.
