The Nigerian Navy has strengthened its international ties with a recent cross-attachment visit to the Egyptian Navy. The delegation, led by Rear Admiral Ikenna Ubani, explored potential areas for bilateral cooperation, including training, acquisitions, and technical skills transfer.

The visit is part of Nigeria’s efforts to deepen cooperation with partner navies and improve operational capacity. An Egyptian delegation is expected to reciprocate the visit in April 2026, further solidifying ties between the two nations.
