The Nigeria police force has condemned the unrestrained, excessive and vitriolic attitude of some senior officers of a Mobile Squadron which the Force says it has viewed officially as an act of indiscipline, and unprofessionalism that goes against the rules and regulations of the Nigeria Police Force.
In a short but terse release CSP MUYIWA Adejobi, the Nigerian Police Force PRO stated that, the Force has condemned the act of some officers of the 23 PMF Squadron Keffi, Lagos in a video that went viral, where they challenged and forcibly ejected the retired Commander of the Squadron recently.
He ended by revealing that the Force has taken the necessary disciplinary action against the indicted officers because their unguarded actions doesn’t represent the ethics and tradition of the NPF, as “we honour and respect officers, both serving and retired in the NPF, (and) we will continue to uphold the core values and code of conduct of the NPF.”
