The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a suspect, Dare Shogaolu, 30, also known as “Super M”, and recovered a locally made pistol during a routine stop-and-search operation in Mushin. The operation was conducted on March 5, 2026, at about 10:00pm by operatives of the Anti-Crime Patrol Team of Mushin Division.
The police found the pistol, a black leather purse, charms, and three pairs of slippers in a white and orange-yellow polythene bag carried by the suspect. Preliminary investigation suggests Shogaolu has been involved in criminal activities in the area and allegedly caused disturbances in the community.
He’s currently in police custody, and investigation is ongoing. The police are also working to apprehend other members of his group.
