Rema, a Nigerian singer, is still on a roll. His most recent song, “Calm Down,” reached a new peak in the UK Official Singles Top 100. Rema and other Afrobeats leaders like Burna Boy and Oxlade extend their runs in the most recent UK chart.
Rema’s “Calm Down” leads the Afrobeats entries in the chart week of October 21–October 27, 2022, rising one spot to reach its new peak position of No. 16—up from No. 17 the previous week—and extending its run on the chart to eight weeks.
Immediately after Burna Boy’s “For Your Hand” feat. The 15-week run of Ed Sheeran on the chart is extended with his entry at number 20.
The No. 1 song by Burna Boy, “Last Last,” drops to No. 39 from No. 26 the previous week as it enters its 23rd week on the chart.

JAE5’s “Propeller” featuring BNXN and Dave maintains the top spot on the official Afrobeats Chart, while Asake’s “Joha” moves to NO.2, Burna Boy’s “Its Plenty” rises to NO.3, Ayra Starr’s “Rush” moves up to NO.4, and Asake’s “Terminator” rounds out the top 5.
The No. 7 song, “Soweto,” by Victony & Tempoe, debuts at No. 9, followed by “Cough,” by Kizz Daniel & Empire, at No. 9, and “Bad To Me,” by Wizkid, at No. 10.
