The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. (Otunba) Sulaimon Kazeem Olanrewaju (FCA, FCTI), has launched the 5th edition of the annual free JAMB/UTME form distribution exercise. The initiative targets resident and indigent students, underscoring the Council’s pursuit of educational excellence.
Addressing students at the Council Secretariat, Hon. Sulaimon emphasized the significance of the opportunity, highlighting the Council’s free primary education and the State Government’s support through the T.H.E.M.E.S. agenda. He urged students to seize the chance, citing the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and NELFUND loan.
“You cannot get a free Education from birth till SS3 in any state in Nigeria except Lagos. Your colleagues in other states sincerely pray, wish, and hope they were this fortunate, but they are not. That is precisely why you must seize this opportunity as the ultimate tool to mould your own future,” he said.
The event was attended by key officials, including Vice Chairman Hon. Adesegun Aluko and Council Manager Engr. Okunowo Rotimi, who offered words of encouragement and technical guidance.
This year’s distribution marks a significant milestone, celebrating five years of investment in Ikorodu West’s intellectual capital under Hon. Sulaimon’s leadership.
