For six consecutive years, the Stop the Abuse Against Women and Children Foundation has upheld its tradition of giving back to society during end-of-year celebrations. The nonprofit organization, known for its dedication to supporting vulnerable groups, has consistently provided essential items such as food, medicines, clothing, startup capital, and scholarships to the less privileged.

This year’s outreach event, held in Ojoo, Ibadan, recorded an overwhelming turnout, particularly of widows, the target beneficiaries of the occasion. To manage the massive crowd and ensure safety, organizers had to padlock the venue gates to prevent a stampede.

With ample relief materials distributed, some beneficiaries shared testimonies of how the support has positively impacted their lives. Over the years, the foundation has touched the lives of more than 21,000 families through its various programs, bringing hope and tangible change to communities across Nigeria.

Since its registration in 2018, Stop the Abuse Foundation has been steadfast in its mission to fight for the rights of women and children, who are among the most vulnerable in society. The organization offers pro bono legal services, paralegal assistance, socioeconomic aid, medical support, and psychosocial trauma care to survivors of gender-based violence. To date, the foundation has successfully rescued over 35 survivors, providing them with a pathway to recovery and empowerment.

As the year comes to an end, the Stop the Abuse Foundation continues to reaffirm its commitment to making a difference, one family at a time.
