Taiwo Olasukanmi Samuel (TOS), a proud indigene of Agege, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Chairman of Agege Local Government under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), representing Lagos West 1 (Ikeja Division). His candidacy is rooted in a deep passion for grassroots development and a firm belief in inclusive governance.
Having picked up his nomination form, Samuel expressed optimism about his chances of securing the party’s ticket, stating that his three-point agenda; Youth Empowerment, Infrastructural Development, and Education are core pillars essential for sustainable progress in Agege.
According to him, these focus areas are not just political promises but actionable commitments designed to uplift the local government and improve the quality of life for all residents.
Samuel’s connection to Agege runs deep. He received his early education in schools within the community and later proceeded to Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, where he pursued higher education. His personal experience fuels his belief in the transformative power of education. As a staunch advocate for learning, he has vowed to create initiatives that will offer better educational opportunities for children and young adults during his tenure.
