According to Senator Dino Melaye, spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Management Committee, Atiku Abubakar would foster and make it possible for all Nigerians to feel like they are citizens of the same nation if elected president in 2023.
This was said by Melaye in a statement he released on Saturday under the heading, “Our country needs healing—Atiku is the balm.”
The “broken trust, the shattered economy, and the bastardized political fabric of Nigeria” are what he referred to as needing the soothing balm that Atiku offers.
“Our dear country is hemorrhaging from all sides, ranging from social to political and economic,” the declaration adds. Between our political geography, economic situation, and social atmosphere, there is a palpable amount of discord and mistrust. As a result, there are numerous fault lines in our country, but there is hope because Atiku is the solution when our nation needs to be healed.

Conflicts are expanding ripplingly. The current APC administration practices an ideology that fails to offer leadership in times of crisis, hope in times of despair, assurance in times of fear, and opportunities in times of shortage, which emerges as a crisis of confidence between the government and the governed. Nigeria must cut any ties to the APC, no matter how guileless, for this reason. The Party and its leaders have rigid standards. They professed to be change’s forerunners, but they have grown resistant to it. They have not changed or learned anything from the Bourbons.
“Observers of the Nigerian political scene would recognize Atiku as a focused leader who has weathered the turbulent waters of a creative conflict with composure, restraint, and accommodativeness. This demonstrates leadership in action. This is the advantage of similar experience and the benefits of reflection, which determines the proper application of attitude to the current situation.
Atiku, who represents the PDP, has started his campaign, traveling around and assuring people that the years of the locusts are over. He is a consummate political strategist, an engaged listener, a disarming deployer of charm offensive, and a beacon of optimism.
In order to show that he is a politician who is at home everywhere in Nigeria, Atiku will launch his presidential campaign in Uyo on October 10, 2022. The ceremony drew a sizable crowd, but it also attracted a rainbow coalition of partygoers, whose various but artistically mixed colors represented Nigeria as a magnificent country with many shades of diversity that is poised for greatness when all the shades are made into substance.
“Atiku can assemble the pieces that are not connected. He feels comfortable around people of all sexes, races, religions, social classes, and People. He is therefore concentrated on promoting unity, inclusivity, integration, cohesion, and nationalism.
Nigeria cannot afford to take a chance this time by selecting poorly. It’s good enough that a presidential contender has already outlined his own egotistical mindset that prioritizes his empire and himself. This self-agenda can only lead to more division and alienation in a society that has to quickly get past its limited interests.
