Lagos State Police Command operatives, acting on credible intelligence, intercepted an unregistered MAN diesel truck at a Lagos exit point. The vehicle was loaded with 47 sacks of military camouflage uniforms and 80 cartons of drugs suspected to be illicit substances. Four suspects have been arrested and remain in police custody.

Preliminary findings show the military uniforms were allegedly being moved to the Eastern part of the country. Investigators are tracing the source, ownership, and intended recipients of the items, and assessing the extent of the suspects’ involvement in the alleged crime.

The Command said efforts are ongoing to arrest other persons linked to the illegal shipment. Investigation continues, and residents with relevant information are urged to contact the nearest police station or reach Lagos State Police Command directly.
