The minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, has started building more projects in some of the communities spread across the four Local Government Areas within the Federal Constituency as part of his commitment to ensuring community development in the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in Delta State.
Information and communication technology, ICT centers, ultramodern community town halls, farm resorts, ultramodern store houses, and ultramodern palaces are among the projects in the 2022 budget that would directly affect the lives of the people.
Issele-Uku, with its ICT center and community town hall, Okpanam, with its ICT center and Omu Palace, Ubulu-Okiti, with its community town hall, Otulu, Ashama, Ogwashi-Uku, with its farm resort, Issele-Asagba, with its community palace, and Ubulu-Unor, with its community hall, are among the benefiting communities.

Others, such as the construction of the ICT Center and Community Town Hall in Issele-Uku, the Omu Palace in Okpanam, the Ogwashi-Uku Farm Resort, and the Ubulu-Uku Community Town Hall, began in earnest last week due to a delay in land allocation and other difficulties. These projects include the ICT Centers in Okpanam and Ubulu-Okiti, the Community Town Halls in Issele-Asagba and Asham
Due to obstacles that the contractor, Chief Ken Agbalanze, is addressing, work has not yet started on the Illah Comprehensive Community Town Hall or Ubulu-Unor Obi’s Palace. He also pledged that the engineers will be mobilized to the various sites within the next two weeks.
While reiterating that all of the constituency projects for the Minority Leader in the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, including the Ubulu-Unor Obi’s Palace and the Illah Comprehensive Community Town Hall, would be finished before the end of the 2022 budget year, the Contractor also guaranteed that work on the Appeal Court in Asaba’s Store House would begin as soon as next week.
A escorted tour of a few of the project sites showed that the site engineers there were following the task requirements and were very focused on finishing the projects by the deadline.
Rt. Hon. Elumelu has received praise for his community development efforts in the various communities in the Federal Constituency from Her Royal Majesty, Obi Martha Dunkwu, Omu Anioma and Nneoha, a well-known community leader and defender of the tradition and culture of the Anioma Nation in Delta State.
Obi Dunkwu described Rt.Hon. Elumelu as a blessing, not only to the residents of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency but also to the Anioma Nation, Delta State, and Nigeria, in an interview with journalists on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in her Palace at Okpanam in the Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State. She claimed that in representative democracy, Rt. Hon. Elumelu has continued to be the man with a Midas touch.

The well-known politician asserted that Elumelu has maintained to uphold his end of the bargain with the residents of the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency while pleading with God to give him the health and strength to continue his proactive advocacy of the people. In Delta State, where there are other federal constituencies, she observed that Rt Hon. Elumelu’s Federal Constituency stands out in terms of constituency project delivery and drawing in the benefits of democracy for the populace.
