Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has commended the IyawoAlhaji Itoku Community & Development Initiative for its civic enlightenment campaign, describing it as noble and timely as the nation marches towards the 2027 general elections.
The commendation came on Thursday, October 30, 2026, when Founder of the Initiative, Comrade Oladunni Patricia Sodipo (IyawoAlhaji Itoku) led her team on a courtesy visit to the State Police Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, to present the Peace and Service Leadership Award to the CP for his commitment to peace, security and community policing.
Mrs. Sodipo said the group’s Operation Protect Your PVC Campaign, themed “From Registration to Protection – PVC Na Your Power,” aims to sensitize market women, youths and community members on obtaining and judiciously using their Permanent Voters Cards, while CP Ojajuni praised the initiative and assured the Command’s support for voter education efforts.
