The Crime Reporters Association Of Nigeria (CRAN), is set to hold the 2023 annual lecture and award series in Lagos.
The event themed ” Financial Crime And National Security: Challenges, Way Forward For Nigeria”, promises to be a colloquium for imperative discuss towards solutions and mechanisms for putting up a lasting framework for the nation’s national security and prosperity.
The awards is a recognition of those who are in strategic positions of security especially working with security agencies, who have made tangible efforts in their drive towards national security development.
The series will be chaired by Dr. Solomon Arase, IGP ( Rtd), Chairman Police Service Commission. Distinguished special guests of honour include the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Governor Oluwaseyi Makinde and the Deputy Governor Of Lagos State, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
Other special guests of honour lined up to grace the occasion are the Chief Of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Inspector General Of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun, AIG Ari Mohammed Ali, AIG Zone 2, CP Tunji Disu, Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Command and Dr. Bone Efoziem, a retired Army Major and MD Strict Guards Security.
The Chief host of the event is the Commissioner Of Police, Lagos State Command; while the royal father of the day is His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdul- Rasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, Natural Paramount Ruler,Oluwo Of Iwo Land, Osun State.
The annual lecture and award ceremony will take place at the Providence Hotel, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos State, on the 7th of December, 2023, by 10am prompt.
